The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.49% at 12,461, whereas BSE
Small-cap Index is trading up 0.48% at 12,294. Some buying activity is
seen in basic materials, power, realty, oil & gas, utilities, auto
and industrial sectors are showing gainers on BSE.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 28,132 up 37 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8,641 up mere six points.
GAIL, SBI, Adani Ports, Tata Motors, NTPC, Sun Pharma, Tata Steel and Power Grid are among the gainers, whereas Lupin, Maruti Suzuki, HDFC, Axis Bank, Dr.Reddy's and Hero MotoCorp are losing sheen on BSE.
All sectors are trading in a positive zone. Some buying activity is seen in basic materials, power, realty, oil & gas, utilities, auto and industrial sectors are showing gainers on BSE.
The rupee opened lower by five paise at 67.40/$ against US Dollar Tuesday as against the previous close of 67.35/$.
