The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 2.92% at 11,146, whereas BSE
Small-cap Index is trading down 2.82% at 11,123. The INDIA VIX is up
8.15% at 19.4900.

took a massive toll on World stock markets and currencies on Friday.
Dalal Street, too, bore the brunt with India’s benchmark Sensex
nosediving 785 points in the early trades today. Besides, other Asian
stock markets also witnessed a free fall with key benchmark indices
tumbled between 1.1% to 7.2%. The NSE Nifty is currently trading 2.75%
down at 8,043. However, it breached the 8K mark in the early trades.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 26,250 down 807 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8,039 down 232 points.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 2.92% at 11,146, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading down 2.82% at 11,123.
Crompton Greaves is among the gainers, whereas Tata Motors, ICICI Bank,
Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki, Axis Bank and Adani Ports are losing sheen on
BSE.
All sectors are in red; auto, realty metal, banking, finance, capital g
realty, power, utilities, energy, IT, telecom and teck sectors are
showing weakness on BSE.
The INDIA VIX is up 8.15% at 19.4900. Out of 1,798 stocks traded on the
NSE, 1,347 declined, 109 advanced and 342 remained unchanged today.
A total of 12 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trades today, while 52 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
Tata Motors shares plunged 11.9% to Rs.430 on Brexit jitters.
Bank of India slumped 6.5% to Rs.90.15. The bank has announced that the
Bank has raised Rs.1000 Crore by issue of Basel-Ill Compliant Additional
Tier I Bonds (Series-ll).
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals dropped 743 on BSE. The company has been
granted tentative approval by the US Food & Drug Administration
(U.S. FDA) for Olmesartan Medoxomil Tablets, 5 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg, the
generic version of Benicar Tablets of Daiichi Sankyo, Inc.
