Morning Updates Of Stock Market-Equity Tips

Indian shares edge higher; ITC gain
India's benchmark BSE index gains 0.74 percent, while the broader NSE index is up 0.62 percent. * Blue-ship stocks leading the gains with ITC Ltd up 1.7 percent on value-buying after falling 6.2 percent in the previous session. Among other heavyweights, Reliance Industries Ltd is up 1.2 percent while State Bank of India gains 1.3 percent.
India's Bajaj Hindusthan shares
Shares in Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd gain 10 percent after the company said on Monday that it repaid foreign currency convertible bonds aggregating to $17.7 million
RBI to banks
The Reserve Bank of India today directed all banks and financial institutions to provide information and documents sought by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up to unearth black money. All the banks and financial institutions (FIs) are advised to ensure that information/documents required by the SIT are made available as and when required," the Reserve Bank said in a notification
L&T Stock Price
On June 24, 2014,Larsen and Toubro was quoting at Rs 1675.50, up Rs 21.85, or 1.32 percent. The 52-week high of the share was Rs 1774.70 and the 52-week low was Rs 678.10.
Indian Rupee Higher Today
The Indian rupee opened higher by 8 paise at 60.12 per dollar versus 60.20 Monday. Euro continues to remain under pressure, trading below the 1.36 mark.

Evening Updates Of Equity Market Tips

Market Wrap
Indian markets broke out of narrow range and plunged sharply in the afternoon trade following by the basket selling in stocks triggered by tension in Iraq. All sectoral indices were ended in red except Pharma and Media sector. 
Sensex dropped by 275 pts to 25246 and Nifty went down by 73 pts to 7558. European markets traded up.
  •  Indian markets ended down. Nifty & Sensex down by 0.96% & 1.08%.
  •  Asia-Pacific mkts mxd. Hang Seng down by 0.09% & Nikkei up 0.93%.
  •  Wall St Up. German 10-y Bond Auction 1.39. Dow Future down 13 pts.

Indian shares fall for second day
Indian shares fell for a second straight session on Thursday, as oil stocks such as Oil and Natural Gas Corp slumped on worries that higher gas pricing may be allowed only for incremental output while violence in Iraq continued to weigh.
Indian rupee ends stronger 
The Indian rupee strengthened on Thursday after the U.S. Federal Reserve indicated interest rates are likely to remain lower for some more time, pushing the dollar sharply lower, but high global crude oil prices checked gains in the local currency.
Rupee ends at 60.08/09 per dlr vs 60.39/40 on Wednesday
Stock On IT
Information technology stocks had a good outing. With stocks from realty, automobile and healthcare sectors too bouncing back from their lows, the market staged a smart recovery in the final hour, but still ended the day on a negative note. Rail related stocks were in demand amid speculation the government will soon allow FDI in railways. Capital goods, power and metal stocks closed weak. FMCG stocks ended on a mixed note.

The market has slipped deeper into the red this afternoon,
The rupee is stronger at 59.98/99 versus its previous close of 60.39/40 after the U.S. Federal Reserve signalled that interest rates will stay low for a while yet.
Market weak,banking stocks down ~1%
BSE Sensex is trading down 132 points at 25,115, while S&P
Nifty is trading down 42 points at 7,517.
BSE Mid-cap is down 0.55% at 8,985, while BSE Small-cap is down 0.25% at 9,849.
Some buying activity is seen in consumer durables, auto and IT sectors on BSE, while banking, capital goods, power, oil & gas and metal sectors are down.

Loosers-ONGC, RIL, Coal India, Maruti Suzuki ,Gail and HDFC Bank 
Stock news:
Sesa Sterlite Ltd (SSL) has urged the Odisha government to extend the benefits under the state's SEZ (Special Economic Zone) policy to run its idle aluminium SEZ at Jharsuguda. The scrip is down 0.24% on BSE.
ONGC stock slips 5%
Shares of ONGC was down 5% at Rs423 on reports that company may increase its stake in Cairn India's Rajasthan oil fields.The stock has hit a high of Rs440 and a low of Rs421
Railway stocks in focus
Shares of Railway stocks surged after Nirmala Sitharaman, commerce and industry minister reportedly said that the country needs foreign direct investment (FDI) for expansion of railway network.

The Indian stock market opened on a positive note this morning, tracking global cues.Capital goods, power, realty and metal stocks have moved up.Select automobile and banks stocks too have edged higher.
Sensex rebounds, up 140 pts; rupee gains
Equity benchmarks rebounded in early trade on Thursday with the Sensex rising 142.71 points to 25388.9 and the Nifty gaining 37.65 points to 7595.85. About 872 shares have advanced, 200 shares declined, and 28 shares are unchanged.
India's NSE index gains 0.3 pct
India's NSE index rose 0.3 percent in pre-open trading on Thursday on the back of firm global shares after the U.S. Federal Reserve committed to retaining accommodative monetary policy. Indian shares slipped more than 1 percent on Wednesday, falling for three out of four sessions.
Indian rupee opens at 59.99 per dollar; gains 40 paise
The Indina rupee gained 45 paise to 59.93 a dollar compared to previous day's closing value of 60.39 a dollar.

Mid Day News Of Equity Market Tips

Market Wrap
The market, which slipped a bit deeper into the red a little past noon, has recovered some lost ground and is trading flat now. Realty and metal stocks are weak. Bank and automobile stocks are also quite subdued. Healthcare, FMCG, capital goods and power stocks are mostly flat. 
Select information technology stocks are trading firm thanks to a weak rupee.
The Sensex is now down 13.29 points or 0.05% from its previous close. The Nifty is down 3.30 points or 0.04% at 7530.25.
The rupee is at a 2-month low against the dollar, trading around 60.35 a dollar.
India's oil explorers gain
India's crude oil explorers gain, tracking surging oil prices on escalating violence in Iraq on hopes of margin expansion and inventory gains, investors say.
India cbank steps in to check rupee's fall
The Reserve Bank of India was spotted selling dollars around 60.49/50 rupee levels through state-owned banks to check the rupee's sharp fall, three traders said on Tuesday.

Shareholders of YES Bank have approved the board’s decision to raise $500 million capital to support its growth plans, the bank said in a notice the stock exchange. Yes Bank is up 0.49% on BSE.
HDFC (Housing Development Finance Corporation) paid advance tax of Rs. 4.15 billion for the first quarter in the current financial year ending 31 March 2015 as against Rs. 3.6 billion in FY2013-14. The scrip is down 1.71% on BSE.

Indian shares  opening lower
Indian shares are likely to open lower, tracking weak cues from global markets, after marking their lowest close in 1-1/2 weeks on Monday.
Indian markets closed flat to negative note, after extreme volatile trading session. Indices were swinging between negative and positive zone. The WPI based inflation rose to 5 month high of 6.01% in May against 5.20% in April. Sensex declined by 37 pts to 25190 and Nifty went down by 8 pts to 7533. European market traded down.
  • Indian markets ended down. Nifty & Sensex down by 0.11% & 0.15%.
  • Asia-Pacific mkts down. Hang Seng down by 0.08% & Nikkei by 1.1%.
  • Wall St Up. Europe Core CPI 0.7% (y/y). Dow Future down by 20 pts.
Sensex, Nifty open flat
The market has opened in red as possibility of an Iraq civil war looms large.
The Sensex is down 1.02 points at 25189.46 and the Nifty is down 8.50 points at 7525.05.About 349 shares have advanced, 216 shares declined, and 26 shares are unchanged.
L&T, HDFC, Reliance, SBI and M&M are major laggards
while GAIL, TCS, Wipro, Tata Motors and Cipla are
major Gainers in the Sensex.

BSE Sensex is trading up 14 points at 25,205, while S&P Nifty is trading up 6 points at 7,539.
BSE Mid-cap is up 0.78% at 9037, while BSE Small-cap is up 0.98% at 9,800.
