ICICI Bank Ltd is currently trading at Rs 255.1, down by Rs 4.75 or 1.83% from its previous closing of Rs 259.85 on the BSE. Around 21.3 lakh shares were traded in a single block.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 298.2 on 10-Nov-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 180.8 on 26-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 267.4 and Rs 255 respectively.  

The promoters holding in the company stood at 0 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 65.5 % and 9.13 % respectively.  

The stock is currently trading below its 50 DMA.

Sensex, Nifty trade flat; Tata Steel 2.65% up

The BSE 30-share barometer trades in the green on Wednesday. The gauge had gained 195.64 points in the previous session. Sectoral indices led by capital goods, metal and realty stocks were in the green. The NSE Nifty, too, is trading higher. Brokers said increased buying in select stocks coupled with covering-up of outstanding short positions ahead of the expiry had a positive impact. A firm trend on other Asian bourses following record closing at the US markets too influenced sentiments, they said.

12.33pm: DLF Ltd rose 3.24% to Rs 114.60 after huge block deal. Around 1.16 million equity shares of the company changed hands in a block deal. 

12.20pm: The 30-share S&P BSE Sensex is currently trading higher by 12 points, or 0.04%, to 26,972, while the Nifty 50 of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) rises 2.65 points, or 0.03%, to 8,005.  

12.05pm: Healthcare companies are trading higher. Lupin Ltd rose 0.9%, Cipla Ltd rose 0.7%, Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd 0.5%, and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd 0.4%.

10:30am: Multi Commodity Exchange Of India Ltd hit 18-month high. It rose 9.7% to Rs.1,181.35—a level last seen on 19 March 2015. The stock gained 27% in last 10 days. So far this year it gained 24.7%

10:20am: Bank of Maharashtra rises 1% to Rs.31.25. The government on Monday removed Sushil Muhnot as chairman and managing director (MD) of Bank of Maharashtra, four days ahead of his scheduled retirement.

10:10am: Indoco Remedies Ltd falls 6% to Rs.323.25 after news report said that the US food and drug regulator issued form 483 with six observations for Goa plant II & III. Six observations cover quality & production systems, facilities and Six observations cover equipment & post-market reporting.

10:00am: IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd rises 2.2% to Rs 262.15 after the company got letter of intent from NHAI for Udaipur to Gujarat border 6-laning project -Estimated cost of project at Rs 2,100 crore; concession period 21 years.
