A report by IFA Global said "Asian stock markets are trading on a lower note, with Hang Seng index trading lower by 100 points and Nikkei index is trading lower by 39 points as markets saw less chance a victory by Republican nominee Donald Trump in his US presidential bid. US stock markets closed in the red. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed lower by 28 points and Nasdaq index closed lower by 14 points. US equities ended lower after non-farm payrolls showed the economy added lower jobs in September compared to previous month. European stock markets closed on a mixed note, with FTSE closing higher by 44 points and CAC closing lower by 30 points, European indices ended on a mixed note after data showed German industrial production rose in August." All sectoral indices barring financial services,IT and realty were trading flat to positive. Volatility was close to nil with the India Vix quoting at 14.5025.
