Indian Market Watch And Stock Recommendation News Update



Sensex Ends 90 points Up After Volatile Session
The BSE benchmark Sensex, which tumbled to 23,742.75 around noon, after having advanced to   23,971.78 earlier, ended the day with a gain of 90.48 points or 0.38% at 23,905.60.
The Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange settled at 7123.15, gaining 14.40 points or 0.2%. The index touched a high of 7152.55 and a low of 7082.55 during the session.
          In the forex market, the rupee opened at 59.48 against the U.S. dollar. Around late afternoon, the rupee was trading around 59.25 against the greenback, notably up from Wednesday's close of 59.66 - 59.68.
          Tata Power ended higher by over 3%. NTPC gained nearly 3%. ONGC, GAIL India and Hindustan Unilever moved up by 2% - 2.6%.
