The market may open higher on firm
Asian stocks. Asian stocks rose on Monday after weaker than forecast US
consumer confidence spurred bets the Federal Reserve will maintain stimulus.
Key benchmark indices in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia
and South Korea rose 0.19% to 1.08%.

Toyota Motor Corp. gained 1.1 percent. Hong
Kong’s Hang Seng Index increased 0.4 percent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.48
percent or 107.90 points at 22,806.24. and China’s Shanghai Composite slid 0.3
percent. Taiwan’s Taiex Index added 0.7 percent and Singapore’s Straits Times
Index gained 0.2 percent.
