Indian markets gained more than 2 percent on Friday to their highest close in nearly three years as banks rose on value-buying while blue chips gained as foreign investors extended their buying streak to a tenth consecutive session. Nifty up by 143 points, closed at 6189. Sensex up by 467 points, closed at 20882. Europe is trading in green.
