Stock Trading News - Sensex Surges Nearly 400 Points :-

7,500 strike price call option was the most active options contract on the NSE.
The premium on the contract surged 30 per cent to Rs.
101. As many as 3,941 contracts were added to the open interest of 70,888
contracts.The
stock markets extend gains in the late noon deals. The Sensex advanced 341
points to 24,584 and Nifty rose 96 points to 7,465.ICICI
Bank, NTPC, Lupin, Maruti Suzuki and ITC were among the laggards in the Sensex. Metal
stocks extend gains. The BSE Metal index was the top sectoral gainer, up 3.3
per cent; Jindal Steel was the top gainer from this space, up 7.2 per cent at Rs. 61.60. Vedanta, Tata Steel, Hindalco, NMDC, SAIL and
NALCO were also among the gainers, up 3-6 per cent each.Technology
stocks were witnessing buying interest. The BSE IT index was up 1.8 per cent;
Infosys, TCS, HCL Technologies, Mind Tree, KPIT Technologies and Wipro were
among the gainers. The
stock markets continue to trade on a strong note. The Sensex advanced 307
points to 24,550 and Nifty rose 88 points to 7,457.
